ENIGMA LORE
With no memory of themselves or where they come from, the Enigma are a race of modified individuals, each sporting a mask fused to their face and a power source embedded into their chest. The Enigma themselves have many theories on their current state. Some believe they modified themselves in order to endure travel through the portals that allowed them to leave their universe behind, others believes they were created with these implants and it's simply how they are, a third theory is that they were captured by another race and had been modified to more resemble their captors. A few think they were an abandoned experiment, thrown into the void between universes as a failure to be forgotten, whatever their true origins are, this race has laid claim to their own future, whatever it may be, and where ever it may lead.
